Birkenhead Clinic 
We run a clinic in Birkenhead for people in receipt of benefits, old
age pensioners and students in receipt of grants. On average, we treat
over 3,600 animals each year. We are not able to do inoculations, neutering
or major operations. However we do offer facilities for treatment of
minor ailments such as ear mites, clipping of claws and flea treatments.

Chester Charity Shop

The shop is located in Christleton Road on the outskirts of
Chester. It is run by Lillian Pepper and her group of about
10 volunteers who give their time freely. Together they raise
over £25,000 p.a.

Lillian Pepper was awarded with one of 12 "Volunteer of
the Year Awards" presented on the 9th June by the Chester
Voluntary Service by the Mayor of Chester.
The award was made in recognition of more than 30 year service
by Lilian in managing the branch charity shop in Chester. Lilian
and her team of volunteers helped to raise over £25,000
each year which goes towards helping to run the Animal Centre
in Wallasey, Clinic in Birkenhead and the use of Barra Boarding
Kennels in Chester. It also assists with the many animal welfare
schemes that the branch operates.
Lilian and her teams continuing support is mich appreciated
by the branch.

Wirral Animal Centre Shop and Reception

As well as being a re-homing centre, the animal centre in Wallasey,
Wirral also has a shop that sells leads, harnesses, toys, dog
chews, treats, beds and other accessories for dogs, cats, rabbits
etc.
The centre also provides a Micro-Chipping service to members
of the public, for a charge of £10. Although this only
takes a minute to do it is necessary to book your pet in by
ringing 0151 638 6318 between 11.30am - 3.30pm except Thursdays.
